Kingston, Ont – Competitive squash player Corporal Dorice Houle played more than three games a day to win the regional gold medal. The victory gives her a chance to represent CFB Kingston during the Nationals in CFB Borden from the 26 April to 2 May.

"Last year I did not attend the regionals or nationals because of an elbow injury. Now I feel great and I am ready," said the aerospace telecommunication information system (ATIS) technician, from the Canadian Forces Crypto Maintenance Unit at CFB Kingston

Team CFB Kingston also took first place at the regional tournament held at the Kingston Military Community Sport Centre from 25–29 February. It brought competitors from North Bay, Petawawa, Trenton and Kingston.

Participants finishing first or second in a regional competition are automatically qualified for the National Squash Tournament. Competitors will come from Eastern, Western, Prairies and Quebec regions.
