TORONTO, Ontario — Incoming commander, Brigadier-General Greg Young, Chief of the Land Staff, Lieutenant-General Marc Caron and outgoing commander, BGen Marc Lessard, signed the change of command scrolls during Land Force Central Area's (LFCA's) change of command parade.
BGen Marc Lessard passed command of the Army in Ontario to BGen Young, at a ceremony held in Toronto on February 3. BGen Young is the second Reservist to command LFCA which consists of 5 000 Regular Force soldiers, 5 500 Reservists and 1 400 civilian employees.
